Bitgert also has a buyback mechanism, where a 5% buyback tax is charged on each transaction and stored inside a smart contract.

Bitgert seeks to provide a range of use cases in the real world, including decentralization of transactional services. Its project comprises DeFi, NFTs, Web3.0, and Metaverse products. Bitgert's BRC20 blockchain seeks to address major problems in the current blockchain products, such as poor scaling, high transaction cost, and security. Bitgert started its journey in the summer of 2021, with the platform launched in July. The development team initially worked anonymously, but they have announced intentions to reveal their identities when the time comes. No specific deadlines have been published for this reveal, but it is expected to positively affect the project’s reputation and the price of BRISE. Bitgert also intends to register as a legal entity in the short term, presumably in the Cayman Islands.
