FAQ

As per the whitepaper, Unifty is a multichain NFT ecosystem that does not run on any codes and aims to consist of a composition of tools, products, micro-DApps, and services for building a fast-growing creator economy. Unifty aims to give creators all the tools required to execute their ideas and turn them into lucrative opportunities.

Unifty seeks to develop tools for building advanced DeFi and NFT systems. Unifty aims to disconnect creative industries from their old-fashioned ways and introduce them to the growing world of DeFi and develop a create-to-earn network with creators and developers who are recognized for their talent.

The Unifty platform is based on the NIF token and the UNT tokenNIF  is a governance token that seeks to give holders the power to own the network and allow them to cast their votes on decisions regarding the network's operations and future. NIF was initially created to act as a payment token on the platform but has evolved to have much more utilities like aiming to create marketplaces and farms by staking the token giving discounts to stakers on platform fees.

On the other hand, UNT or the Unifty Network Token is a utility token created to act as a payment token. The token is required to be paid as a subscription fee for using the ecosystem and creating marketplaces, collections, and setting up farms. The token is also used as a reduced fee for NFT bridge transactions.

Unifty was launched in December 2020. The founders are Colin Platt and Markus Bopp. Platt is currently the chief executive officer while Bopp serves as the chief technology officer. Other important members of the team are Adrijana Donlic (director), Quentin Bomgardner (head of research), and  Eugene Kem (head of communications). Ratko Pokrajac and Marin Zelalija serve as project managers. The maximum total supply of NIF tokens is 5,000,000 coins.
