The protocol wishes to feature cross-chain support, allowing users to conduct lending and borrowing of digital assets across multiple blockchains in a safe and secured way. The protocol also encourages the use of wrapped tokens or cryptocurrencies pegged to the values of different crypto assets on separate blockchains. Rikkei Finance allows users to participate in projects and utilize their assets on any blockchain using the wrapped tokens. The protocol seeks to modify and upgrade the yield rate model to make borrowing of digital assets less exorbitant. 

Rikkei Finance works towards increasing liquidity while providing users with additional rewards. Besides stablecoins and tokens, Rikkei Finance allows users to put up NFTs as collateral. Hence, the protocol features an NFT marketplace with a diverse range of less expensive NFTs. The protocol also enables users to purchase insurance or coverage for the assets stored in the crypto vaults. 

Powering Rikkei Finance is the RIFI token. The crypto-token plays a crucial role in the metaverse. Users can clear off the platform charges using RIFI tokens. Rikkei Finance distributes rewards among lenders and borrowers using RIFI. Since lenders act as liquidity providers, the platform encourages users to stake their digital assets into the lending pools. The lenders further earn rewards or additional RIFI tokens for staking their holdings. Users can participate in farming the RIFI tokens and NFTs for increased revenues. RIFI intends to function as a governance token too. The token enables holders to place proposals, debate, and vote in matters like protocol improvement.
