The escrow system refers to when a third party holds assets or funds until both parties have fulfilled their contractual requirements. Then, tokens get subtracted from the violator’s account based on the severity of violations and get burned or redistributed to the users. Burning signifies a mechanism where a fraction of tokens is sent to a wallet with no private key to remove the token from supply to stabilize the price of the token. The process usually reduces the availability of the tokens and increases market value.
