As per the platform’s official publishing, many of the projects created in the Dark Matter ecosystem explore the idea of NFTs. NFTs are currently one of the popular solutions which combines blockchain technology with the creative freedom of art. Dark Matter has launched a game called Mission to Marp  which allows users to earn NFTs. During Mission to Marp, users join Elob (a fictional in-game character) on his interdimensional journey and solve puzzles along with him to earn limited Dark Origins series NFTs.

To enter the Mission to Marp game, users acquire the DMT token. There are seven NFTs in the Dark Origin series. Users need two things to mint NFTs, - NaOH and Key in the wallet.

Dark Matter’s puzzles are on the knowledge of the crypto industry and its history. Development of the game is decentralized and done by volunteers. Sharkchild, a notable author, created the story for the puzzle.
