Crow Finance or CrowFi is referred to as a one-stop-defi shop. According to its whitepaper, the platform offers tools necessary for making educated decisions for trading assets. The project aims to offer a secure platform for users so that they can reclaim control over their finances. The project also seeks to eliminate the banks as the intermediary for people’s traditional currency to earn dividends. The platform is operating on the Cronos network because, as mentioned in its official document, it is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) built on Ethermint, thus supporting the rapid porting of smart contracts and apps from Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains. The Cronos network is scalable as it can process more transactions per minute, and hence it is faster, cheaper, and greener to execute smart contracts. Further, the network can operate with multiple blockchains based on the Proof-of-Authority consensus mechanism. The Cronos network is also open-source and is entirely transparent to the public.

CROW is the ecosystem’s native digital token. As per its tokenomics, the token’s allocation is divided into 70% for farm emissions, 3.3% for private sale, 4.2% for pre-sale, 5% for team wallet, which is locked for five years, and 4.5% for initial liquidity.

The platform’s website and native token were launched in the fourth quarter of 2021.
