FAQ

CORAL is a decentralized, trusted digital asset trading platform. CORAL believes that the digital currency should first determine if it has attributes of commodities or real securities and then considers its real value. As the exchanges are the only circulation place for digital currency, the exchange must first ensure the authenticity of both parties’ trading needs when each digital currency is traded. Currently, the market needs an exchange that shows the real demand for digital currency in circulation. The exchange should have a good mechanism to make up for the lack of supervision of the existing centralized trading platform and use code to limit the human risk of implementing the rules.

For the exchange to be entrusted with trading, it is essential to ensure the security and privacy of user assets during the trading process. Hence, for CORAL, the assets remain in the user's decentralized account or smart contract from starting to the end. Also, the completion of the trading is a P2P (peer to peer) transfer.

Furthermore, most of the current blockchain smart contracts do not have privacy protection; thus, all information on-chain is transparent to traders. To solve this, users need to entrust assets to contract accounts before decentralized exchanges like CORAL entrust transactions. If the contract data is entirely transparent, the user’s assets are also publicly transparent. If the user does not issue a transaction instruction to the contract, the asset user’s assets in these contracts are entirely private.

As per its whitepaper, the CORAL found SERO (Super Zero Protocol) that supports the encryption of part of the data in the contract and ensures data consistency through zero-knowledge proof. CORAL V1.0 version was built based on SERO. SERO is globally the first secure blockchain that supports smart contracts. It offers the openness of smart contracts and the closeness of the privacy system.

CORAL aims to improve the concurrency of block processing transaction TPS (transaction per second) and contract calculation, thus continuously aiming to provide better financial products with good experience under the premise of ensuring fairness.

CORAL 1.0 was launched on May 31, 2020, and version 2.0 was founded on July 31, 2020. The total supply of CORAL is 10,000,000.
