The token for Warena is called "RENA." The RENA token is a BEP-20 governance token for the Warena Universe. BEP 20 is a token standard on the BSC (Binance Smart Chain) that defines different rules of usage. Players can earn rewards for staking, playing, and participation in governance votes. Also, the players can earn RENA tokens when they play various games within the Warena universe and through user-generated content.

The Warena project is a collaboration of d2mstudio and other game studios. The project was advised, planned, and co-led by the GB incubator. The Warena project was launched in the Q3 of 2021 with a listing of the RENA token and launch of NFT marketplace and PvE gameplay. The development of the token is planned in two stages: the first stage is a 2D play-to-earn game, was released in Q1 2022, and the second phase will be a 3D cross-metaverse game planned for Q2 2022.The project is planned to launch for various markets across South East Asia and Central Europe.
