Stealth is a cryptocurrency platform that allows rapid, feeless, and private transactions. Any payment system's usability depends on the speed with which transactions are completed. Stealth allows for quick transactions owing to five-second block times, giving users a better experience. The platform helps solve issues with online payments and is essential for point-of-sale usability. Stealth also aims to solve the problem of providing cryptographic privacy and massive scalability. 

Stealth is based on Junaeth Proof of Merit consensus mechanism. Junaeth is a consensus technology that builds on Ethereum protocols by supporting smart contracts, sidechains, on-chain governance, and blockchain oracles. Blockchain validators are rewarded only based on quantifiable performance and obtain rights via purely economic means. Junaeth offers a unique temporal network schedule that allows network delay, disturbances, and multithreaded event processing. Junaeth is entirely decentralized, relying solely on protocol and financial incentives. For feeless transactions, the platform leverages Proof of Work (PoW). Instead of fees, the sender can provide a proof-of-work, in which the sender's computer must perform a recognized calculation and include the results in the spending transaction.

The platform further utilizes Proof of Stake mining consensus's long-term energy efficiency while maintaining network security. Stealth combines two different types of blockchain ledgers, each with its own set of strengths. Unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs), digital traveler's checks, are used in the first type of ledger. The UTXO ledger adds cryptographic privacy to the blockchain, masking every transaction sender and receiver. The second type of ledger is account-based and is used to confirm transactions. Account-based ledgers are exceedingly efficient, allowing for highly exact block validation scheduling.

XST is the platform's native cryptocurrency. Using XST, transaction validators acquire their rights to process transactions. These rights are tokenized as NFTs, movable assets known as StealthNodes, each of which is assigned a slot in a block validation schedule. Fees are charged by the platform and are paid in XST. 0.01 XST is the minimum fee.

Stealth was co-founded by Sascha Pahlke and Dr. James Stroud in July 2014. Stealth R&D, LLC is the development company behind the platform.
