SpaceDawgs (DAWGS) is a meme token that aims to bring crypto to the masses. Meme tokens are based on internet jokes (memes) recent events and are often endorsed by influencers. According to its whitepaper, the idea behind the token is to implement decentralized finance (DeFi) through the fun world of meme coins. SpaceDawgs seeks to empower users to trade cryptocurrency conveniently and profitably. The project intends to gradually expand the platform's utility to include a digital wallet holding custody cards. Subsequently, the platform plans to roll out DeFi crypto credit/debit cards with the theme of the SpaceDawgs.

The platform focuses on building a strong community for the token holders. SpaceDawgs seeks to rapidly grow into a decentralized movement of content creators, technologists, prominent crypto members, and last but not least, its holders. The SpaceDawg community seeks to serve as a cornerstone of knowledge-sharing, network connections, and expertise.

Built on Ethereum, the ecosystem features a built-in charity supporting environmental initiatives. Interestingly, SpaceDawgs is also a member of the Crypto Climate Accord that sets standards for environment-friendly crypto development protocols.

The native token of the platform is DWGS, which aims to serve as a store of value and medium of exchange. The DAWGS coin, based on the Ethereum network's ERC-20 standard, is the backbone of the SpaceDawgs ecosystem. In contrast with the conventional practice of printing currency, the DAWGS token is deflationary. This means, the token supply diminishes over time to create scarcity and raise the price. Hence, it automatically rewards its holders by appreciating with time.

In due course, the project also plans to roll out SpaceCard, a credit-card-like device linked to Dawgs wallet. The SpaceCard aims to be used as a means of transaction, just like regular credit cards but for cryptocurrencies.
