Energo (TSL) is a decentralized autonomous energy (DAE) community based on decentralized applications (DApps). Energo system utilizes Qtumblockchainand a decentralized system designed to measure and register transactions and settlement of clean energy in local micro-grids. Energo is designed for a new energy production and consumption future that connects producers of varying capacities and energy consumers of diverse needs.

As per the whitepaper, Energo seeks to channel the construction, information structure, and value system of future smart grids and help bring about a genuinely decentralized autonomous energy community. The Energo platform aims to find better solutions to manage a massive decentralized future energy grid that can be unreliable. Energo allows participants to increase the use of locally generated electricity and seeks to deliver evident benefits, such as cutting power distribution cost and energy loss, managing the local power grid efficiently, and more.

The network implements advanced information technologies and new energy technology to integrate the real-time flow of power, information, and value transfer among producers and consumers into a decentralized system where energy is traded and data is managed.

TSL or Tesla is the token of the Energo platform. TSL represents its holders’ access to power in distributed energy storage equipment. The users need to own TSL to store electricity in energy storage equipment. The network charges a commission amount on the user-stored energy in the distributed storage equipment to ensure the fair use of public resources. Ten percent of the total tokens are allotted to educate the market and new users.

Energo was founded in October 2016 in Shanghai, China. Kaikai Yang and Ray Chu co-founded the Energo platform. KaiKai Yang served the Energo network as COO. She was responsible for the strategic layout and global expansion of the company. Yang has led Energo to explore the market in 10 countries. Yang bid Energo goodbye in August 2018.

Ray Chu serves the Energo network as CEO. He started his own business in the financial industry after dropping out of college in his freshman year. Ray has worked on various outsourced projects for renowned financial institutions. TSL has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens.
