Any newly issued BRD tokens are first offered to the pre-existing holders. 

The Bread was first launched in 2014 with its open-source wallets. Initially, Bread was only usable as a Bitcoin wallet, and eventually, all the services were included with time. The platform is run by a team of professionals, namely Adam Traidman (CEO and cofounder), Aaron Voisine (cofounder and senior core architect), Samuel Clutch (CTO), Spencer Chen (CMO), and some other professional executives. Additionally, the maximum total supply of Bread is around 88,860,000 tokens.
