NFT-Wars is a decentralized platform that implements NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) in the form of avatars that players can use in the game. As per its official document, NFT Wars is a blockchain game and collectibles system to use layer two (L2) technology utilizing Ethereum and Polygon to provide smooth and efficient gameplay.

NFT Wars is a basic game similar to "Rock, Paper, Scissors," in which players compete for control in risky territory. The platform also includes alliances and groupings, prizes for territory control, and increasingly complicated fighting mechanisms as it develops. Owners of NFTs can also expect tokenized payouts in WAR coins early on, which can be used for staking and purchasing in-game products and assets, minting new NFTs, and other customization possibilities. WAR is the native utility token of the platform.

The users get a new card each week from staking WAR tokens. Depending on how many tokens they stake, they may be able to select a rare card to use as their avatar in-game, tell about the card to their friends, and even gamble the card against someone for another card in the future.

The aim is to have fun while giving players complete ownership over their in-game assets, which they can use any way they like, including trading, donating to their alliance, hoarding, and everything in between. Most significantly, they should be able to perform all of this for pennies on the dollar for simple tasks. The players don’t have to pay tokens to “mint" a new NFT only to be hit with more gas fees. Users pay gas fees to remunerate for the computational energy required to process and validate transactions on the Ethereum blockchain.
