Crypto Perx (CPRX) is a cryptocurrency developed by Crypto Banking Alliance. Crypto Banking Alliance is an association created to promote cryptocurrency technologies as the future for banking platforms. The association aims to educate ordinary people on the opportunities that decentralized finance (DeFI) and digital currencies offer to the future of banking. To achieve this mission, the alliance has introduced many promotional programs, educational tools, technology tools, etc. for ethical and safe adoption of the DeFi protocol. Further, the alliance's vision is to create a global movement toward a decentralized financial system that aligns with personal agencies and communities. This movement, in turn, will provide access to everyone around the world to participate in a DeFI system.

As mentioned in the whitepaper, in order to support this vision, Crypto Banking Alliance launched its cryptocurrency Crypto Perx (CPRX). Besides promoting the coin as a future of banking platforms, CPRX is an Ethereum  (ERC20)-based utility token used as a medium to reward partners of the alliance. Further, the holders can use the token for many different purposes, such as saving, spending, borrowing, trading, referral programs, promotional activities, and various loyalty programs. Besides these utilities, the CPRX token can also be used for supporting gaming rewards, paying incremental yield, or staking on DeFi and creating points-driven reward programs for traditional retails. These utilities of CPRX token create opportunities for the association to fulfill its vision of global movement toward decentralized finance. 

Crypto Banking Alliance, an association of Auriga Alliance AG, based in Zug, Switzerland, launched the Crypto Perx (CPRX) token in the fourth quarter of 2021. They coined the name of their token CPRX (Crypto Perx) as a short form to the term "crypto perks." The alliance has a total token supply of 3,000,000,000 CPRX minted during its launch.
