The network created this token mathematically to aim to increase price hourly to protect the users’ investment by a constantly rising liquidity pool. Gravitoken (GRV) is an elastic supply token developed on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). An elastic supply token or a rebase token directly affects the coin's circulating supply. Thus, with every change in the price of GRV, the circulating supply of the coin increases or decreases. The changes in the supply of the token operate with a mechanism called rebasing. Therefore, the token’s circulating supply decreases algorithmically in rebase, depending on the coin's current price.

GRAVITOKEN (GRV) aims to be a gravity-free, rebasing, self-governed community token. GRV comes with an automatic liquidity pool and self-executing asset buyback with a burn. A buyback occurs when an organization purchases back its own cryptocurrencies to limit the supply of the asset. Coin burning refers to the process of intentionally sending cryptocurrency to an unusable wallet address to remove it from circulation permanently. The platform aimed to create GRV to increase the token price by at least 9.81% every 8 hours through rebasing. The network also collects a tax of 9.81% on each transaction. The asset further redistributes the fees to liquidity provision, asset buyback and burning, and marketing requirements.

The network intends to introduce the world’s first community-based quantitative cryptocurrency manager. According to the whitepaper, GRV is unique in its technique, and no other token works on the exact same protocol. The mechanism mathematically seeks to ensure a constant minimum price rise automatically before reaching the maximum limit.
