ReddCoin (RDD) is a decentralized cryptocurrency and blockchain network designed for social payments, tipping, and micro-transactions. The network enables low-cost peer-to-peer value transfers for everyday digital interactions across online communities.
It operates on its own blockchain and uses a Proof-of-Stake-Velocity (PoSV v2) consensus mechanism to secure the network through staking. The ReddCoin blockchain has been continuously operational since its launch in 2014.
