TrueSource is an AI-powered news verification and media transparency platform built around a real-time Twitter fact-checking agent (@TrueSourceBot) and a companion web application.

The Twitter agent responds to user mentions by extracting individual factual claims from tweets, articles, images, and videos, then verifying each claim independently against multiple sources
including wire services, government databases, financial data feeds, and NASA satellite imagery. Results are returned as structured verdicts with source citations and political bias labels from Media
Bias/Fact Check. The agent also posts approximately 1,500 proactive fact-checks per month on trending and viral content.

The web application provides article-level analysis including bias ratings, claim verification, rhetorical technique detection, and media ownership intelligence sourced from SEC filings, FEC political donation records, and lobbying disclosures. A story clustering system groups articles covering the same event and visualizes coverage gaps across the political spectrum. An interactive news desert
map tracks newspaper closures across US counties.

$TRUTH is the native utility token on Solana using the Token-2022 standard. It serves two functions within the platform: token holders receive tiered access to premium features based on balance
thresholds (Insider at 500K, Pro at 2M, Newsroom at 5M tokens), and the token can be used as a direct payment method for subscriptions, with paid tokens burned from supply. Premium tiers unlock deeper verification (50+ sources per claim), full ownership chain data, API access, and exportable fact-check reports.
