About SUI Perpetual
The SUI Perpetual-Style Futures contract is a 5-year cash-settled futures contract that trades 24/7 and allows traders to manage risk, trade on margin, or speculate on the price of SUI. Each contract represents 500 SUI. This contract incorporates a funding rate mechanism to keep the futures prices closely aligned with the price of SUI. Perpetual-style futures contracts also enjoy the 60/40 tax treatment, where 60% of the gains are taxed as long-term capital gains and 40% as short-term capital gains, regardless of the holding period.
