Pug Coin is a meme token created with an aim to support the charities that help pugs by regularly donating to them. Meme tokens are cryptocurrencies mainly inspired by memes and jokes on the internet. The Pug Coin platform intends to perform social good in the community by raising awareness about pets and supporting them. Also, this brings new people to the cryptocurrency world and helps in the adoption of blockchain technology.  

The platform seeks to have an NFT marketplace with Pug NFTs and a Pug metaverse. A total of 10,000 Pug NFTs of different attributes are planned to be released. Users can bring these NFT characters to the game and the PUG metaverse. The roadmap suggests the pug metaverse will be launched in Unity 3D soon, and it will be an interactive space for users. Users can chat, befriend, and hang out with the other users in the metaverse. 

PUG is the native utility token and has many use cases. Users can earn rewards in PUG tokens for playing the games. And users can also stake PUG tokens to earn staking rewards on the platform. 

The tokenomics in the whitepaper suggests that of the total tax collected, 4% is to be added to the liquidity pools to provide healthy liquidity options to the users. A strong liquidity pool helps ensure the stability of the chart and provides long-term sustainability. Two percent is distributed as staking rewards to users who hold PUG tokens in their wallets. Another 4% is distributed to the marketing operations to maintain the platform's growth.
