Revain (REV) is a utility token based on Ethereum. REV token was created for practical purposes, such as rewarding an expert for winning a review competition. The REV cryptocurrency plays a vital role in operating the Revain platform. 

Review authors or writers are rewarded for writing genuine reviews successfully, receiving likes, and receiving comments in Revain's cryptocurrency and the form of experience points. As writers collect experience points, they may access more tasks, rewards, or services. The platform has two currencies, REV and RVN, but RVN cannot be traded on the open market. Hence, users need to convert their RVN into REV for exchanging and getting compensation. 

The Revain project was introduced in the year 2018 by Rinate Arsalanov. A crowd sale originally funded the team of Revain in August 2017 by trading REV tokens to create its platform. REV token was the initial cryptocurrency developed by Revain's team; it was an Ethereum-based token that interfaces with the online business review platform of Revain.  Revain (REV) resulted from token migration in April 2020, when every REV token was swapped to create REV tokens.
