Established in 2018, Raptoreum spent a considerable amount of time in development before its Genesis block was launched. The RTM coin employs a unique hashing algorithm known as Ghostrider, which periodically changes algorithms to discourage mass ASIC & FPGA mining, a strategy with the potential to contribute to decentralization.
