Alien Worlds also allows players to run for candidacy to become a Councillor in more than one planet, providing a unique governance model within the game.

Alien Worlds was developed in 2020 by Dacoco GmbH, a German company based in Zug, Switzerland, a hub for blockchain and crypto companies. Dacoco has created three projects to date and claims to be experts in decentralized autonomous community organizations.
