PathDAO (PATH) is a community-driven decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that seeks to create value for traders and players in the growing blockchain gaming, social, and NFTs metaverse community. The project took birth intending to create two interlacing paths for game creators as developers and players (gamers). The platform envisioned leveraging the onboarding and conversion of the masses of Web2 users into the Web3 space using blockchain gaming as a gateway.

There are many opportunities prevailing in the market that aim to create innovative value that adds to gamers and players in the blockchain. Hence the project aims to establish and effectively operate the Venture Capital arm (incubation and advisory team) and PathDAO SuperGuild (a gamer community) for the users. Moreover, the project seeks to use a structured and data-driven approach to operate the PathDAO guild and proactively look out for key opportunities to generate competence by being at the frontier of innovation in the blockchain gaming and metaverse ecosystems.

Further, due to several competitive advantages like community wisdom, operation know-how, wide network, strong advisory panel, and community support, the project claims to outperform the market. With more than 4,000 scholars across seven game ecosystems, PathDAO seeks to expand the gaming community into good and fun games that create value for players and game creators. PATH tokens are used as a governing token since ownership of the token allows the holders to voice their opinion or broadcast proposals in directing the future of PathDAO by voting. For instance, the token holders can provide a proposal to vote for an additional member to be added to the council or for the implementation of a new project.

Lastly, all the contracts are owned, and their higher-level functions, such as the minting, are executed by the multi-signature crypto wallets. Minting means creating new coins by validating information and recording that information into the blockchain.

The project's founding team includes Jansen Teng as CEO, Wee Kee as CFO, and Wei Xiong as CTO. The project had a maximum total supply of 1,000,000,000 PATH tokens. All the funds raised during IDO are channeled into PathDAO Treasury.
