Coinbase is the trusted crypto infrastructure partner to more than 200 of the world’s leading banks, brokers, fintechs, and payment firms—and now, we’re doubling down. As client demand and regulatory clarity accelerate, more firms are entering the market to build their own crypto offerings.

To meet this moment, we’re unifying and expanding our infrastructure and markets platform under a new offering: Coinbase Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS). Whether institutions are launching a crypto brokerage, custodian, or integrating stablecoin payments, Coinbase’s CaaS platform delivers the critical tools to help them build scalable products with uncompromising security, while accelerating time to market.

Why Coinbase CaaS?

  • Institutional experience: We’ve forged partnerships with some of the leading financial institutions and asset managers in the world, and understand institutional-scale partnerships. We have the team, product depth, and resources to help leading firms succeed as they build in crypto.

  • Regulated and compliant: As a publicly traded company, we adhere to the strictest standards of financial reporting, risk controls, and independent audits. With licensed entities across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, we offer global nexuses to our fully compliant products.

  • Unmatched security: Coinbase sets the industry benchmark for safeguarding digital assets, with battle-tested key management systems, 24/7 threat monitoring, and dedicated security infrastructure teams.

  • Accelerated time to market: Developing crypto infrastructure is complex and expensive. By leveraging Coinbase’s proven systems, our partners can build best-in-class solutions with minimal lift.

How institutions leverage Coinbase today

Leading financial institutions, from global banks to fast-moving fintechs, already rely on Coinbase’s crypto infrastructure to build their crypto offerings. We recently announced that Webull Pay is partnering with Coinbase to leverage our CaaS platform for institutional-grade custody, advanced trading, USDC, and staking access.

The CaaS undertaking builds upon our infrastructure integration with BlackRock’s Aladdin, which enables Aladdin clients, including the iShares crypto ETFs, to support the entire crypto transaction lifecycle.
