Chivo Wallet is a digital wallet designed by the government of El Salvador that allows users to make payments in dollars or Bitcoin.
Chivo Wallet allows users to send and receive Bitcoin and/or Dollar without commission between Salvadorans, as well as swap Bitcoin for Dollar or vice versa without commission. Chivo is also compatible with various Bitcoin on-chain and Lightning wallets. Finally, Chivo links with El Salvador's banking system to deposit and withdraw dollars from the platform, as well as with a network of Chivo ATMs to deposit and withdraw dollars in cash.
