
Leak reveals SEC has open case on every US crypto exchange, not just Coinbase
The leak came from an unnamed staffer of Senator Cynthia Lummis' office and revealed that every U.S. crypto exchange and Binance are under investigation.

One of the banks said said it has the duty of notifying authorities about any “suspicious transactions,” which may lead to the closure and termination of some relationships.

Coinbase would allow institutional investors of BlackRock to carry out crypto transactions via its Coinbase Prime feature.

The lawsuits are currently before Federal courts, where the judges have rejected the exchange's move to send the cases into arbitration.

COIN is up 50% since July 26 as analysts forecast better than expected results upon release of the second-quarter earnings report on August 9.

The India-based exchange, which operates as an independent subsidiary of Binance, allegedly violated the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.

SEC Chairman Gary Gensler urged crypto exchanges to operate according to securities law, as they can't be treated differently because of their technology.
