Pups originated in the shed of the O.P.I.U.M holder community, which existed before the renowned 10,001 collection now recognized as Bitcoin Puppets. Initially launched as a BRC20 token on Bitcoin's first token standard in April 2023, it has since transitioned to the current Runes standard.
