Saga Origins, the gaming-focused publishing arm of the Saga Protocol, launched its latest AI-powered gaming experiences via novel partnerships with four entertainment companies.

Per the press release shared with Cryptonews, the company partnered with Super Company, OV Entertainment, Didimo, and Northern Lights Entertainment.

Thanks to this, the team writes, Saga unveiled “revolutionary AI-driven characters, dynamic storytelling, and in-game economies that evolve based on the needs of players.”

It adds that the partnership is “the middle-market validation phase” before a major studio adoption. Rather than building crypto-first games that can’t find users, the four studios are bringing existing products and players into the ecosystem, it says.

Furthermore, the team explained that Saga Origins will utilize its AI technology to support each of the partners. Its AI agent will enable the companies to bring in-game characters “to life,” design quests based on player sentiment, and share in-game news reports, among other benefits.

This ability, Saga claims, will push “the bounds of what is possible in video games.”

According to its CEO and co-founder Rebecca Liao, these four new partners “have each built passionate communities based on their captivating and innovative games and live service experiences.”

Therefore, leveraging Saga’s AI-powered toolset and backend technologies will enable all parties to “showcase the possibilities in AI-powered gaming and how we can unlock new levels of immersion, storytelling, and gameplay that will benefit players and developers alike.”

Meanwhile, this collaboration is the latest one as Saga moves to boost AI-powered gaming. Last week, it partnered with Web3 video games startup GFAL (Games for a Living) to integrate AI-driven agents into the upcoming 3D match-3 puzzle game Diamond Dreams.

Manuel Sort, CEO of GFAL, praised “Saga’s commitment to investing in and supporting exceptional titles that resonate with both Web3 and traditional gamers alike.”

Bringing Titanus to Life

As for the specifics of the partnerships, Saga said it has partnered with Super Company to utilize AI to bring to life the Titanus character from the Hero Hunters game. This means, the team added, that Titanus will be able to engage with players.

Not only that, but the character will be able to create communities as well. This feature, per the team, will result in “more personalized experiences to make Hero Hunters feel more dynamic and alive.”

As for OV Entertainment, it will use the partnership to bring AI-driven characters into multiple current OV titles and future AAA co-development projects, it says. Saga will leverage its AI agents to make in-game characters more interactive, subsequently boosting community engagement.

Moreover, Northern Lights Entertainment plans to integrate in-game AI agents into its flagship political strategy game Nebulae. AI agents will power in-game news reports for players, provide real-time updates, and analyze player sentiment.

Thanks to this analysis, they will be able to create tailored storylines and offer various narrative paths within the game.

Finally, Didimo will utilize the partnership with Saga Origins to advance the creation of AI-powered characters through Popul8, it says. The latter is an engine- and platform-agnostic platform that enables players and developers to an endless number of unique, game-ready characters, customize them, and own them, along with NPCs and crowds.

Meanwhile, in December 2024, Saga announced the launch of its Mainnet 2.0, as well as a new collaboration with the major decentralized exchange (DEX) Uniswap.

And in late February 2025, the team launched its much-anticipated Liquidity Integration Layer (LiL), which addresses liquidity fragmentation in a natively multichain environment.
