Crypto markets traded broadly lower over the past 24 hours, with Layer 2 tokens posting the steepest declines. According to SoSoValue data, the Layer 2 sector fell 3.59%, led by losses in Celestia (TIA) and Mantle (MNT), while Movement (MOVE) bucked the trend with solid gains. Bitcoin slipped 1.36%, briefly dropping below the $88,000 mark before recovering above $89,000, while Ethereum saw modest pressure, dipping toward $3,000 before rebounding above $3,100. Most other sectors also remained in the red, including DeFi, Meme, and CeFi, although select tokens across Layer 1, PayFi, and CeFi showed relative resilience amid the broader pullback.
