Ethereum Outperforms Again, Bitcoin Eyes Key Upside Break, Altcoins in Green

 

• Bitcoin price moves higher above USD 23,000.
• Ethereum surpassed USD 1,620, XRP inches higher above USD 0.35.
• Multiple altcoins are up in double-digits.

Bitcoin price remained well supported and moved above the USD 23,000 zone. BTC even climbed above the USD 23,400 level and is currently (10:20 UTC) up 2% in a day and 13% in a week.

Similarly, most major altcoins are showing signs of more gains. ETH surged almost 9% and was able to settle above the USD 1,600 level. XRP is rising towards the USD 0.40 level. ADA is back above the USD 0.5 resistance zone.

Bitcoin price

After forming a base above the USD 23,000 level, bitcoin price started a fresh increase. BTC was able to clear the USD 23,200 and USD 23,400 levels. It is now attempting a close above USD 23,500. If there is a steady increase, the price could even test the USD 24,000 resistance. The next major resistance could be USD 24,500, above which the price could gain bullish momentum.

On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 23,000 level. The next major support is near the USD 22,500 zone, below which the price could start a stronger decline.

Ethereum price

Ethereum price formed a base above the USD 1,500 level. ETH started a fresh increase and climbed above the USD 1,600 resistance zone. ETH is now up almost 9% in a day and 35% in a week. The next major resistance is at USD 1,650, above which the price could climb towards the USD 1,720 level.

On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 1,580 level. The next major support is near USD 1,550, below which the price might retest the USD 1,500 support zone.

ADA, BNB, SOL, DOGE, and XRP price

Cardano (ADA) remained supported above the USD 0.465 level. There was a steady increase and the price moved above the USD 0.50 resistance. The next major barrier for the bulls might be USD 0.525.

BNB is rising and trading above USD 262. The next major resistance is near USD 272, above which the price may perhaps climb higher towards the USD 288 level.

Solana (SOL) is up over 7% and trading above the USD 43 level. The next major resistance is near USD 45.50, above which the price could rise towards the USD 48 level.

DOGE is back above the USD 0.0700 barrier. It is now approaching the USD 0.072 level. The next major resistance is near the USD 0.075 level, above which the price could rally to USD 0.080.

XRP price is moving higher towards the USD 0.38 level. The next major resistance is near USD 0.40, above which the price could start a stronger increase in the coming sessions.

Other altcoins market today

Many altcoins are rising steadily, while multiple altcoins such as NEAR, NEO, ETC, KSM, SNX, CVX, APE, and CRV are up 11%-20% in a day.

To sum up, bitcoin price is moving higher towards the USD 24,000 resistance. If BTC settles above USD 24,000, it could rise toward USD 25,000. If not, it might decline to USD 22,500.
