Bitcoin Hovers Around USD 60K, BNB Rallies Above USD 560

Bitcoin price is trading in a range near the USD 60,000 level. Ethereum is struggling to gain momentum above USD 2,180, XRP rallied to USD 1.50 before correcting lower. BNB surged more than 20% and it traded to a new all-time high above USD 560.

Bitcoin price seems to be stuck below the USD 60,800 and USD 61,000 levels. BTC is currently (04:30 UTC) trading above USD 60,000, but it is facing a few hurdles. A successful close above USD 61,000 is must to start a steady increase in the coming sessions.

Besides, most major altcoins are trading in a positive zone. ETH is trading well above USD 2,100, but it must gain pace above USD 2,180 for more upsides. XRP/USD rallied towards the USD 1.500 level and it recently corrected gains. Meanwhile, BNB is up close to 20% and it even broke the USD 550 level.

Bitcoin price

In the past few sessions, bitcoin price mostly traded in a range above the USD 59,200 and USD 59,000 support levels. BTC climbed above the USD 60,000 level and it is now showing positive signs. An initial resistance is near the USD 60,800 and USD 61,000 levels. A successful break above USD 61,000 could open the doors for a steady increase. The next major hurdle could be USD 62,000 or USD 63,200.
On the downside, the USD 59,500 level is a short-term support. The main weekly support is now near the USD 58,500 zone.

Ethereum price

Ethereum price is trading above the USD 2,100 support zone. It is attempting a break above the USD 2,165 and USD 2,180 levels. If the bulls gain strength, ETH could rally above USD 2,200 and trade to a new all-time high in the near term.
On the downside, USD 2,100 level is a decent support. The main support is now forming near the USD 2,050 level.

BNB, ADA, litecoin, and XRP price

Binance Coin (BNB) started a fresh surge above the USD 450 resistance level. BNB gained nearly 20% and it broke many hurdles near USD 500. The price even cleared USD 560 and it might continue to move higher. If there is a downside correction, the price could test the USD 500 handle.
Cardano (ADA) is up over 6% and it broke many hurdles near USD 1.285 and USD 1.300. ADA even cleared USD 1.312 and it might rise steadily towards the USD 1.345 and USD 1.350 levels. On the downside, the USD 1.285 may possibly act as a support zone.
Litecoin (LTC) recovered losses and it climbed above the key USD 245 resistance. LTC is now trading above USD 250 and it seems like the bulls are aiming for a test of USD 260. If there is a downside correction, the bulls might protect USD 245 and USD 242.
XRP price started a fresh surge above the USD 1.350 and USD 1.400 levels. It even tested the USD 1.500 level before correcting lower. The price is now consolidating gains near USD 1.350, with many supports near USD 1.300.

Other altcoins market today

Several altcoins gained over 8%, including VGX, CAKE, OKB, HOT, XMR, SOL, DOGE, ALGO, TRX, HT, MANA, and ATOM. Out of these, VGX rallied over 20% and CAKE is up 15%.

Overall, bitcoin price is showing positive signs above the USD 58,500 and USD 59,200 levels. If BTC clears the USD 61,000 resistance, there are chances of more gains in the near term.
