Isaiah Jackson, co-founder of KRBE Digital Assets Group and the author of “Bitcoin & Black America,” thinks that bitcoin can play a crucial role in addressing economic disparity in Black communities.

More than just selling people on bitcoin, Jackson, the host of “Community Crypto” on CDTV, works to educate people on its fundamental principles and the ways bitcoin could be a tool for freedom through self-custody and self-reliance, not just a way to get rich. In this line, Jackson’s greatest influence may come from the simple, effective phrase “not your keys, not your cheese.”

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned this year?

Bitcoin education is the most important aspect of the industry. From kids to boomers, learning about bitcoin is imperative for the new digital revolution.

What was your biggest success?

Teaching thousands of people during the “Bitcoin and Black America” tour and educating thousands more on my show “The Gentlemen of Crypto,” the longest running daily show in crypto history.

Name one big plan for 2022.

I will be helping Miami become the bitcoin capital of the world.

How is crypto going to change the world by 2030?

The technological innovation in crypto to produce NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, the metaverse etc. will open up opportunities for the next generation to have a free and open society built on consensus among the people.
