AIOZ Network: Moving toward a connected, contributor-powered internet

Updated Oct 24, 2025, 7:11 p.m. Published Oct 27, 2025, 7:13 p.m.

AIOZ Network is a full-stack, people-powered Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) driving the next generation of community-powered AI and media infrastructure. At its core, AIOZ Network enables a globally distributed network of participant nodes that coordinate a uniquely scalable foundation for the internet.

Under the leadership of Erman Tjiputra, AIOZ Network has uniquely positioned itself between the worlds of Web2 and Web3; collaborating with both sides to develop more high-performance infrastructure. On one side, Tjiputra and his team are inking inter-industry partnerships with major companies like Alibaba Cloud to foster developer relations and integrate existing AI systems into distributed infrastructure. On the other hand, AIOZ Network continues to expand opportunities for individuals to grow the decentralized network and unlock the potential for token rewards.

AIOZ Network is Web2-compatible and Web3-native, enabling on-chain monetization, collaborative development, and future tokenization of AI assets and dApps by developing the necessary infrastructure for an open, community-driven economy. Whether you’re a builder or looking to become a contributor, the AIOZ Stack provides several opportunities to be a (de)central pillar in building the future of the internet.

The AIOZ Stack

AIOZ Network is a people‑powered media blockchain built on AIOZ DePIN technology, bringing AI compute (AIOZ AI), storage (AIOZ Storage), and streaming (AIOZ Stream) together under a full-stack network. With over 300,000 community-operated nodes, the AIOZ ecosystem is able to deliver a scalable reward-driven foundation powered by DePIN:

  • Media and AI compute: AIOZ provides community-powered AI and media solutions that enhance efficiency and monetization.
  • Distributed storage: AIOZ provides reliable, secure, S3-compatible distributed storage for Web2 and Web3 applications.
  • Interoperable Web3 infrastructure: AIOZ supports Cosmos, EVM, and multi-chain integrations, ensuring seamless AI and content applications.

AIOZ Storage

AIOZ Storage is a contributor-driven, S3-compatible object storage layer designed for both Web2 and Web3 applications. For builders, AIOZ Storage offers a cost-efficient alternative to centralized storage, optimized for compute-heavy and real-time workloads. For non-technical users, AIOZ Storage provides the opportunity for anyone with a device to contribute HDD/SSD (storage), GPU (inference/transcoding), and bandwidth, unlocking the potential for token rewards.

AIOZ Pin

AIOZ Pin is a distributed InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) pinning infrastructure built for immutable, content-addressed asset storage that ensures long-term availability and tamper-resistant access.

Unlike the dynamic object storage that makes up the bulk of the cloud-based, on-demand content we see on the internet today, AIOZ Pin is designed for permanence and versioning. This makes AIOZ Pin well-suited for digital archiving, trustless content distribution, ownership verification, and NFTs.

AIOZ AI

AIOZ AI is a distributed compute platform and AI marketplace where developers can deploy, monetize, and access AI models and datasets. Tjiputra and his team have made their vision for the future of collaborative AI clear through the launch of AIOZ AI back in May and have already began shipping code to deliver innovations outlined in the AIOZ AI Roadmap.

One of the Roadmap milestones completed was the launch of AIOZ AI Marketplace V1: the first version of a platform for ecosystem participants to build and monetize models, datasets, and more while maintaining a transparent, token-incentivized environment. With the launch of Marketplace V1, users can access a wide range of available models to experiment with.

As development continues toward V2 and beyond, developers will soon be able to upload, license, and sell AI models or datasets on the marketplace, generating AIOZ rewards for their contributions and creating a collaborative environment for AI development. For non-developer users, there are still opportunities to participate in the distributed compute economy. Compute tasks, such as model inference or training, are distributed across AIOZ nodes, rewarding contributors through AIOZ Network’s proof-of-compute mechanism.

AIOZ Stream

AIOZ Stream is a distributed video and audio streaming infrastructure that gives creators control, ownership, and monetization over their content. Having launched just last month, AIOZ Stream already supports multiple video formats, including short-form and long-form video, video-on-demand (VOD), and live streaming, as well as audio-on-demand (AOD), live audio streaming (LAS), and podcast hosting.

What sets AIOZ Stream apart from traditional content delivery systems is its ability to leverage AIOZ Network’s peer-to-peer (P2P) connection of contributor-operated nodes to distribute content across geographically diverse systems—reducing the bottlenecks, privacy vulnerabilities, and high CDN costs that come from centralized data centers.

Contributing to the Future

AIOZ Storage, Pin, AI, and Stream are creating new opportunities for both builders and contributors to directly support and build the future of the internet. As a leader in DePIN, AIOZ Network is not asking us to abandon the groundwork that was established in the era of Web2, but rather use Web3 to augment existing infrastructure for a faster, verifiable, resilient, and fault-tolerant internet.
