Itinatag ni Barry Silbert noong 2015, ang Digital Currency Group (DCG) ay isang venture capital firm na namumuhunan lamang sa industriya ng digital currency. Ang Digital Currency Group ay may tatlong subsidiary: CoinDesk, na binili noong Enero 2016, digital currency brokerage firm na Genesis Trading at firm ng pamamahala ng digital asset Grayscale Investments.
Headquarter sa New York City, ang DCG ay namuhunan sa mahigit 150 kumpanya sa 30 iba't ibang bansa.
