  • The partnership, announced Thursday, will focus on non-fungible tokens (NFT) for TSG Hoffenheim fans, the soccer club said in a statement. It also includes key promotional materials such as LED advertising around the pitch at all home games, as well as other wide-reaching advertising tools and co-branded content.
  • "TSG Hoffenheim is happy to be working together with such an innovative and leading brand like Baby Doge,” confirmed Denni Strich, TSG's CEO, in a press statement. “We'll bring an NFT collection from the club and other exciting projects to life.”
  • Baby Doge’s team said further partnerships are likely to increase the project’s brand value. “We endeavor to expand our global reach as a community-centered project, as well as to form strategic partnerships with world-class organizations,” said Baby Doge project manager Mike Watson. “(This) will enable Baby Doge to showcase our benefits and establish ourselves as a player in the sports world.”
  • TSG Hoffenheim is one of the oldest German football clubs and was founded 122 years ago in 1899. Baby Doge’s BABYDOGE tokens were issued in 2021 as Dogecoin’s DOGE tokens gained popularity among crypto investors. BABYDOGE has a supply of 420 quadrillions, and a portion of the project’s revenue from fees is donated towards animal charity.
  • Prices of BABYDOGE were up a nominal 1% in the past 24 hours, as per data from analytics tool CoinMarketCap.
  • Meme coin projects have previously signed promotional deals to position themselves as serious crypto projects. Floki inu, another token issued during the DOGE boom, signed on 10-time Russian Premier League champions Spartak Moscow in a promotional deal in December. This was after floki inu made a deal with Italian football team SSC Napoli in November to include floki inu's logo on the back of the team’s jerseys.
