About Role
We’re searching for a Legal & Regulatory Correspondent to cover the intersection of crypto, regulation, and global finance.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape industry conversations, break major stories, interview influential voices across crypto and TradFi, and help millions of readers understand how regulatory and financial developments impact the future of digital assets.
What you’ll do:
- Cover major regulatory, legal, and financial developments across crypto and TradFi markets.
- Write timely and reader-friendly news articles on regulations, compliance, enforcement actions, ETFs, and macroeconomic trends.
- Monitor key regulatory frameworks, including MiCA, SEC policies, AML/KYC requirements, licensing, and digital asset compliance.
- Analyze how regulatory and financial developments impact exchanges, DeFi, stablecoins, institutional adoption, and broader markets.
- Conduct interviews and video discussions with legal experts, policymakers, analysts, regulators, and industry leaders.
- React quickly to breaking market, regulatory, and financial news.
- Pitch exclusive stories, investigations, and in-depth analysis.
- Represent BeInCrypto at conferences, events, and industry discussions across crypto and traditional finance sectors.
You are the perfect match if you:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in crypto journalism, financial media, legal reporting, or regulatory analysis in English.
- Possess strong news writing, analytical, and research skills with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.
- Have a strong understanding of global financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and digital asset policies.
- Understand the crypto ecosystem, including exchanges, DeFi, stablecoins, token issuance, and blockchain infrastructure.
- Can simplify complex legal and regulatory topics into clear, engaging content.
- Have experience and feel comfortable hosting video interviews, podcasts, or expert discussions.
- Have experience interviewing regulators, compliance officers, legal experts, or policy stakeholders.
- Have an established network within the crypto, legal, regulatory, or financial ecosystem.
- Are fluent in English.
- Being available to attend industry events and conferences in the USA is a plus.
