What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

📍Serve as the DRI for partnerships with the Growth team, working cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and local country directors to define and execute market-specific partnership strategies. 📍Source, evaluate, and negotiate high-impact partnerships across payments, fintech, consumer tech, and crypto-native platforms to drive adoption of Coinbase’s Retail products. 📍Manage top corporate partnerships with a multi-product group footprint (i.e., Consumer & Business, Developer, Base, etc.) 📍Act as a thought partner to product teams by bringing market intelligence, competitive insight, and partner feedback into product roadmaps. 📍Lead complex deal negotiations from first pitch through execution, balancing speed, creativity, and risk management. 📍Track, measure, and communicate the business impact of partnerships, owning the full lifecycle from sourcing through to integration and ongoing performance.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

📍8+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or partnerships roles, ideally in fintech, payments, consumer tech, or crypto. 📍Strong understanding of financial infrastructure, trading, and consumer fintech 📍Proven ability to lead high-stakes deals end-to-end—sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing—while collaborating across functions. 📍Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action: you’re energized by ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments. 📍Highly structured communicator and strategic thinker, able to synthesize complexity and influence executive stakeholders internally and externally.
