Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
šContribute to the development of growth strategies, business plans, budgets and financials both on an enterprise and individual business level šCollaborate effectively with senior management and COO teams to translate strategies (business specific, firm wide or product strategies) into actionable business goals, financial targets, execution plans, and investment needs aligned with long-term firm objectives. šFunction as a āquarterbackā between strategy and finance, ensuring alignment of business and financial goals through leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. šServe as a program and transformation manager to lead and support the execution of FP&A and Strategy initiatives, (e.g., developing new strategies, transforming finance processes, conducting benchmarking based on competitive insights) šAct as strategic and trusted advisor to business leaders by being a student of the markets and leveraging strategic and financial expertise, insights into the latest trends and competitive intelligence. šCollect, analyze, and present financial data to support projects and business operations. šCommunicate strategic priorities and financial information cohesively to senior stakeholders through both written presentations and verbal communications. šCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges and opportunities and develop actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making that benefits all. šDevelopment Opportunities šThe role offers unique exposure to global, regional, and business unit leadership at BlackRock. šIt provides a platform to build a professional brand and advance career development within a collaborative, inquisitive, and high-performing global Finance & Strategy team culture.
Qualifications
šA bachelorās degree or equivalent with strong academic achievement; an MBA is desirable. šAt least four years of relevant work experience in consulting, finance, banking, or similar fields, with a strong preference for asset management industry experience. šProficiency in financial processes including modelling, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and valuation.
