Job Summary
What you’ll do
📍Serve as regulatory counsel with a focus on financial and crypto regulation in the EU (primarily Luxembourg and Slovenia, potentially Lithuania) and other relevant markets (e.g. British Virgin Islands, United Kingdom, Singapore) 📍Manage licensing obligations and regulatory communications, including supervision and correspondence from a legal standpoint 📍Provide strategic legal advice on the design, development, and modification of products and services in response to evolving regulatory landscapes 📍Advise and counsel internal stakeholders on crypto-asset services, payment services, and e-money frameworks 📍Lead or independently support regulatory and product implementation projects, while offering practical, business aligned solutions and anticipating risks 📍Provide general in-house legal support, including but not limited to corporate governance, litigation support, and contract negotiation and review
What you bring
📍Law Degree in any EU jurisdiction, LLM considered an asset 📍8+ years of experience in an in-house legal role or with a reputable law firm 📍Deep understanding of crypto-asset regulations and related products 📍Strong knowledge in corporate, finance, payment, data and consumer protection laws 📍Fluency in English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills 📍Ability to drive a creative and innovative approach by finding different ways to look at problems and design novel solutions
