Money market protocols can list their compensation-bearing token in Ferro, while any lower liquidity stablecoins bridged from other chains can leverage the Meta Pool set up to bootstrap the liquidity. Users can also stake their LP tokens to receive compensation and enhance their participation benefits. Additionally, Ferro Protocol has introduced features like a rewards dashboard, direct harvest & auto-compounding, and an analytics page to provide users with better visibility of the performance of the protocol and individual pools.

Ferro Protocol was established by a group of DeFi enthusiasts who saw a need to build products that overcome existing challenges in the DeFi space. The protocol was launched on the Cronos blockchain, and its $FER token was introduced via Initial Gem Offerings on VVS Finance. Shortly after its launch, Ferro went live on mainnet with its 3FER Base Pool offering USDT, USDC, and DAI for swapping and liquidity provision.
