Dentacoin is a blockchain-based solution for the global dental industry. Besides, Dentacoin smart contacts seek to automate the transaction fees, enabling users to transact without worrying about fee payment.

Moreover, the platform plans to distribute the total funds raised during the ICO (initial coin offering). Of the funds raised through ICO, 40% is allocated to the platform's core development and 25% to operational expenses. While 25% is reserved for marketing and sales, 10% is allocated to legal and compliance.

In the first quarter of 2017, the Dentacoin Foundation was founded, and the DCN token was released. Also, the second version of the whitepaper was published on November 28, 2018. The founder of the Dentacoin Foundation is Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrakiev. He has more than 27 years of experience in the financial markets. Moreover, Philipp Grenzebach and Jeremias Grenzebach are the cofounders of the foundation. Jeremias Grenzebach has eight years of experience in peer-to-peer technology.
