To be eligible to open an Instant Access Savings account, you must:

• Be a UK-based Coinbase account holder who has successfully passed our Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process without any restrictions.

• Be a UK tax resident (you must notify us promptly if your tax residency changes).

• Not be a US tax resident.

With Instant Access Savings accounts, your money starts earning interest from the day you deposit it. Here's how it works:

• Daily Accrual: Interest is calculated and accrued daily based on your account balance.

• Minimum Threshold: Interest is only paid when the accrued amount reaches a minimum of £0.01. This means interest may not be credited to your account every day unless at least £0.01 has been earned.

• Payment Frequency: Once the minimum threshold is met, the interest is paid directly to your account.

Important:

• If you withdraw funds or close your account, no interest will be earned for that day. However, any interest accrued earlier in the month will be paid to you.

Yes, your interest rate is variable and may change based on market conditions. Here's what you need to know:

Increases:

• Interest rate increases can take effect immediately.

Decreases:

• Typically, we’ll provide at least 14 days' notice before a decrease, explaining the reason for the change.

• Reasons for a decrease may include changes in market rates, economic conditions, increased business costs, regulatory updates, or other factors.

• If the Bank of England changes its base rate, your interest rate may decrease the day after the announcement. In such cases, we are not required to give prior notice, but we will inform you of the change as soon as reasonably possible.

Eligible deposits held in your Instant Access Savings account (powered by ClearBank) are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (“FSCS”) subject to eligibility. This means that if anything goes wrong with ClearBank, you will receive compensation for any eligible deposits you have made with ClearBank up to £120,000. The total value of deposits that the FSCS scheme covers and conditions of your eligibility may change from time to time. You can read more about the FSCS protection on the FSCS website.

If you see a transaction that you don’t recognise, you must tell us immediately.

1. Go to Assets.

2. Select GBP Savings.

3. Choose Move Cash to transfer funds into your Instant Access Savings account.
