TenUp is a decentralized community-driven platform that aims to help entrepreneurs by funding their projects and supporting refugees and displaced people worldwide. TenUp intends to achieve this goal with the help of blockchain technology. 

There are many features of the platform, including components like the TenUp Web Wallet, which allows users to exchange tokens and access various platform elements. The transaction mechanism of the platform seeks to be instantly verifiable, which increases the use case of the TUP token and helps with the prompt acceptance of the token into the mainstream. The platform also assists in swapping the TUP token into the TenUp Smart token.

The TenUp community supports all TenUp projects and arbitration tools to all entrepreneurs. The platform seeks to provide funding to new ventures through venture capitalists after they complete the process of the platform. TenUp also wants to create its own NFT marketplace and an in-house decentralized exchange in the future. 

The TenUp token or TUP is the native token and the primary medium of exchange within the ecosystem. The token is based on the network of masternode to seek to ensure decentralized governance and privacy. A masternode is a server with a unique status in the network that performs exclusive tasks and, in return, receives rewards. The token is based on the proof-of-stake mechanism, and the token undergoes a voting process to make decisions regarding features and community involvement. 

The native token is based on the ERC-20 standard on the Ethereum mainnet. The platform aims to launch quite a few DeFi projects. According to the whitepaper, some of these projects include the world's first Cricket NFT marketplace, LP (liquidity provider) token staking, and TenUp Swap (DEX). TenUp Smart is also building dedicated platforms such as a peer-to-peer exchange and a shariah (Islamic Law) compliance exchange. 

TenUp Smart was founded to build metaverse solutions by Pakistani crypto influencer Waqar Zaka. Metaverse combines various elements of technology where users connect within a virtual space. Zaka developed the platform in collaboration with NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan. The institution has consisted of an AR and VR lab run by PhD professors to run the TenUp project. 

Apart from Zaka, other team members include Faisal Khan (chairman), Zeeshan Abbasi (CTO), Ibtisam Ahmed (blockchain developer), Arbaz Ali (web developer), Farooq Naiyer (CISO), among many. The maximum total supply of TenUp Smart tokens is 200,000,000 coins.
