About 1000SHIB Perpetual
The 1k Shib Perpetual-Style Futures contract is a 5-year cash-settled futures contract that trades 24/7 and allows traders to manage risk, trade on margin, or speculate on the price of Shib. Each contract represents 10,000,000 Shib. This contract incorporates a funding rate mechanism to keep the futures prices closely aligned with the price of the 1k Shib index. Perpetual-style futures contracts also enjoy the 60/40 tax treatment, where 60% of the gains are taxed as long-term capital gains and 40% as short-term capital gains, regardless of the holding period.
This contract is available to trade on Coinbase Derivatives Exchange (CDE).Trading is available 24/7 with a 1 hr break on Fridays 5-6 EST. The market is currently open.Contract Details
