Tether’s issuer claims that USDT is backed by bank reserves and loans which match or exceed the value of USDT in circulation. And a coin burn function is built into the blockchain's smart contract to remove a predetermined amount of GRAMS tokens from circulation when needed, ensuring a balance between GRAMS and the gram of silver.
