According to BusinessKorea, The South Korean government is considering a licensing system for cryptocurrency exchanges that is similar to New York's BitLicense. South Korea says they will use New York’s BitLicense as a benchmark, and that a system like New York’s BitLicense is capable of merging cryptocurrency with the traditional banking and finance system.
