At the end of last week, the global giant of the footwear industry filed an application to the US Patent Office. The trademark Nike hopes to get a patent for is called ‘cryptokicks’.
Nike will work with crypto wallets
The trademark ‘cryptokicks’ (CRK) is expected to be related to crypto wallets – ‘hot’ and ‘cold’ ones – and be connected with crypto transactions. CRK will also work with
“providing online nondownloadable computer software for use as a cryptocurrency wallet; providing a website featuring technology that enables users to mine, earn, purchase, receive by any other means, store, and transfer blockchain-based tokens, coins, cryptocurrencies, and other crypto assets,” according to the filing.

A ‘Cryptokicks’ coin may appear
The company has not clarified or even announced its plans regarding blockchain and crypto but the filing says, the patent will provide:
“Financial services, namely, providing a digital currency or digital token for use by members of an online community via a global computer network.”
A possible name for the coin is ‘Cryptokicks’.
