The coins are available for trade in several major jurisidictions.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase announced in a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.coinbase.com\/ethereum-tokens-dai-dai-golem-gnt-maker-mkr-and-zilliqa-zil-are-launching-on-coinbase-3065eeb42d5b\">blog post<\/a> that the company is adding four new ERC20 tokens to its Coinbase Pro platform: <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/golem\">Golem<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/maker\">Maker<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/zilliqa\">Zilliqa<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/dai\">Dai<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase is on a rampage for adding new tokens. After over a year of conservative additions to its Pro platform, the company has recently added a handful of new ERC20 coins, along with plans to release over thirty more.<\/p>\n<p>For standard Coinbase users, <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/basic-attention-token\">Basic Attention Token<\/a> (BAT), <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/usd-coin\">USD Coin<\/a> (USDC), and <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/0x\">0x<\/a> (ZRX) became available. Meanwhile, Coinbase Pro users got access to <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/civic\">Civic<\/a> (CVC), <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/district0x\">district0x<\/a> (DNT), <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/loom-network\">Loom Network<\/a> (LOOM), and <a href=\"http:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/coins\/decentraland\">Decentraland<\/a> (MANA).<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Coinbase does not support the native functions of many of these coins. Users cannot conduct rendering using Golem beta, engage with global settlements through DAI, or engage in Maker governance.<\/p>\n<p>For those interested in picking up some of these new cryptocurrencies, the offerings are available in the US, Uk, EU, Canada, Singapore, and Australia.<\/p>\n<h2>Community Concerns<\/h2>\n<p>The new additions have raised some <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jelbazi\/status\/1075129589079465987\">concern<\/a> in the community. Previously, the company has been cautious to add new coins. The rapid addition of these new ERC20 tokens could expose the company to additional liability because of potential securities classification.<\/p>\n<p>Another controversy is why Coinbase has chosen this particular order for token listings.
