{"id":93960,"date":"2018-11-26T11:51:42","date_gmt":"2018-11-26T19:51:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/?p=93960"},"modified":"2018-11-26T11:52:40","modified_gmt":"2018-11-26T19:52:40","slug":"elevated-returns-and-securitize-make-a-security-token-push-in-thailand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cryptoslate.com\/elevated-returns-and-securitize-make-a-security-token-push-in-thailand\/","title":{"rendered":"Elevated Returns and Securitize Make a Security Token Push in Thailand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Elevated Returns, a pioneer of Trophy Real estate Tokenization, has recently announced a partnership with Securitize, a compliance platform, and protocol for issuing and managing digital securities on the blockchain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This partnership will allow Elevated Returns to spur their real estate tokenization program in Southeast Asia through the Securitize technology issuance platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Elevated Returns recently also made a successful bid to acquire 24.9 percent of a Bangkok-based Seamico Securities as part of its expansion plan in South East Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Stephane De Baets, Founder and President of Elevated Returns said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cNow that we have established our vision and model for tokenizing real estate assets in a scalable and compliant way, it is important for us to capitalize on our first mover advantage in order to dominate the space.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is clear that this partnership will allow both parties to make some noise in the Southeast Asia security token scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Success of Securitize<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Companies such as SPiCE VC, 22X Fund (Batch 22 of 500 Startups), Blockchain Capital, and Augmate have worked with Securitize to issue or upgrade compliant digital securities. Securitize\u2019s DS Protocol allows for issued digital securities to be traded in a compliant manner on global marketplaces and exchanges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Securitize announced today that it raised a $12.75 million Series A round. Participants in the round included Blockchain Capital (lead), Coinbase Ventures, Global Brain, and Ripple\u2019s Xpring fund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Carlos Domingo, Securitize Co-founder and CEO said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe are very excited to partner with ER Global and join forces to tokenize iconic properties in Asia and beyond.
