This week, Binance and Malta Stock Exchange confirmed a partnership to launch a new security token trading platform, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maltatoday.com.mt\/business\/business_news\/89402\/binance_and_malta_stock_exchange_to_launch_security_tokens_trading_platform#.W5l6w5NKiYX\">Malta Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Malta As Hub for Blockchain Innovation<\/h2>\n<p>The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Binance, is set to build a regulated security token trading platform in partnership with the Malta Stock Exchange (MSX), as per a\u00a0memorandum of understanding, signed Sept. 11.<\/p>\n<p>To accommodate\u00a0new advancements in fintech, the Malta Stock Exchange formed MSX PLC, a subsidiary platform specified for digital assets. The new security token trading platform will be built on MSX PLC and plans to offer trading of traditional equity and security tokens side-by-side on a single interface.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Malta Today, MSX Chairman Joe Portelli said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Whether you like it or not, the technology is here to stay.
